Get the Look - Rio Black

The reason why I am doing this post is

1. Because I love this dress.

2. I got new nail polishes I couldn’t wait to play with.

And 3. Because collection 2000 have an amazing palette out to buy at the moment!

Right so I will start off with my nails this is the bit I would get done before I even started to do my make up so I will do it in order of me getting ready for a night out with my girl .

I have used a selection of nail polishes -

1. As always I started with a clear base coat.

2. I put 2 coats of Rimmel polish in Black

3. Used in a colour selection from Orly's Nail art selection to paint the strips across the nail - I chose silver, purple, blue and hot pink :O)

Next the Make-up.

This is a Palette available to purchase in any shop that stocks Rimmel Products- it’s a great little accessory to any make-up box and would fit in with a large number of themes.

Some of the colours apply better than others, and you will find that when applying not only will you need to put on a few layers but that also you may find flakes of the colour on your cheeks after applying ( easily removed with a big blusher brush)

The colour selection available is Yellow, Purple, Emerald Green, Pink, Bright Blue, Lime Green, Mid Green, and Dark Blue & Black

Its a bargin as well at under £5 you just cant say no! - this is something we would deffinatly use to creat the looks for our next range photo shoot!

Right well now you have gorgeous nails and make up to die for its time to dress up and accessorise!

The dress i have chosen is of course Rio Black - which has zig zags in Multi colours = AMAZING

i have searched the internet high and low for accessories i would use and buy to complete my look!

Hello you gorgeous gory people! It’s the Halloween weekend due to start shortly and are you ready?

What’s your choice of clobber this Halloween season?

Getting into the true swing of Halloween i have done my Halloween nails and make up which could go with a number of costumes this hollow’s eve.

My makeup i have done to go with one of my 2 favourite costumes from contagious - Siren the sexy Vampire or Corpse Bride taking sweet revenge

VampVamp

The make up was super simple to do i used 4 items all fairly cheap products - lipstick and lip liner both from the george basic range really great red!

The eye shadow was body shop black and the liner was GOSH black

Now for my nails i really couldnt decide so i did 5 halloween styled nails! hope you like them

All have a fantastic halloween weekend stay safe and take care!

Feeling Wild!?!

I most certainly was when I did my nails; you may have gathered I LOVE painting my nails in fun ways to match the contagious collection so why should this pot be any different right?

So today I have decided to channel the wild range so anything animal print really! It was fun, quick and most of all easy to do! This is the first time I’ve done it and I’m pleasantly surprised! I have decided to follow the green variation of our animal print collection and used a BYS green polish – again pleasantly surprised with this one good application and not too shabby drying time! Allow for using a base coat first!  It protects your nails! Then follow it up with 1-2 coats of your chosen colour (depends on coverage)

Then I used an Orly striping polish – available to purchase on eBay at a pretty good price. I used black and I just did small sweeps varying in length from side to the centre.

Leave to fully dry and apply a top coat (which extends the wear)

And Voila! Sexy animal print nails to match your favourite wild design!
